Faith Hill To Appear On Season 2 Of Barefoot Contessa Reality Show

The Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten, will invite Faith Hill and three other companions to dine with her on the second season of her show Ina Garten's Be My Guest.

Hill will appear in the season premiere and reportedly bond with Garten over food and family, among other topics. Yet another surprise guest'll also accompany her.

Hill Will Be First In An All-Star Lineup

According to Variety, Hill will join a season two celebrity lineup that includes actors Nathan Lane, Emily Blunt, and chef Marcus Samuelsson.

In the first season of Be My Guest, Garten led actress Julianna Margulies, broadcaster Willie Geist, chef Erin French, and Hollywood power couple Rob Marshall and Jon DeLucatours on tours of the Contessa's Hamptons abode.

Expect Lots Of Recipes And Reflection

In season one, the Contessa often swapped recipes and shared stories with her celebrity guests. We can expect more of the same in this upcoming season with Hill.

Per the show's season two description: "In the season premiere, Ina greets Faith Hill with frozen palomas and fresh guacamole and they become fast friends while talking about family, love and music. Faith’s daughter Gracie joins the party to help bake her family’s cola cake recipe and they then take a drive to Topping Rose House to celebrate their new friendship."

The Show Is Only The Beginning

Be My Guest actually appears in three different formats -- an hour-long version that streams on Discovery+, a half-hour version that airs on Food Network on Saturdays, and a companion podcast that streams on all audio platforms. You can expect Hill to appear on at least the hour-long and podcast formats.

Ina Garten, who made a name for herself hosting the long-running and beloved Food Network series Barefoot Contessa, told Variety of the upcoming episodes with Hill: "I’ve had so much fun filming season two of Be My Guest! It’s a dream come true to spend the day with these amazing people. I hope their stories will inspire you too!”

More TV Appearances On The Horizon?

Hill recently celebrated her daughter Maggie's 24th birthday in New York City and has been focusing on her television career of late. In 2021, she appeared on the first season of the Yellowstone prequel series 1883. And while she is unlikely to return for the show's second season, she will surely be a welcome sight on Be My Guest as she decides upon her next post-1883 TV job.
