Carrie Underwood's Latest Post Is Heating Up Instagram

Being a fan of Carrie Underwood never gets old. The social media posts always deliver! Case in point: Underwood's latest Instagram reel, which shares footage of the singer's Stagecoach performance over the summer, shows her in fabulous sparkly jean shorts. The response on social media has been pretty much what you'd expect!

Flashback Fabulousness

The reel, which is actually a repost, shows Underwood tearing up the stage at the Stagecoach Music Festival over the summer. Stagecoach, a country music festival held in the California desert, is essentially country music's answer to Coachella.

This past summer, the singer was the headliner in a show that included Luke Combs and Thomas Rett. And if the footage is any indication, Underwood put on one hell of a show.

Denim & Rhinestones

In a classic example of life imitating art, Underwood flashed sparkly denim shorts in the short clip -- perhaps a nod to her latest album, Denim & Rhinestones. She complemented the look with a purple sequined tank top, glittery pink ankle boots, and a bejeweled denim jacket. It was a very country glam meets disco queen look, and Underwood's fans on Instagram ate it up.

Slay All Day

Naturally, the comments on Underwood's repost included, among other superlatives: "I need your entire wardrobe and an excuse to wear it everyday," "Slaying," "Queen of vocals and sparkles," and, simply, "Sensational."

And those fans didn't even get to see the rest of Underwood's Stagecoach performance, which included multiple outfit changes and a backup choir! It even rivaled the dramatics of the country star's acclaimed Vegas residency. And as a cherry on top, Underwood invited Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses to perform with her onstage. It was pure bliss, and Underwood's repost of the performance ensured that fans immediately felt a pang of nostalgia for the festival.

Stagecoach 2023 And Beyond

While Underwood won't appear at Stagecoach in 2023, the festival will still be a great time. The 2023 lineup includes Luke Bryan, Kane Brown, Chris Stapleton, and Brooks & Dunn.

Underwood, meanwhile, has the CMAs to look forward to. This year, she was nominated for three awards, including Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year. The American Idol winner will also be kicking off her Denim & Rhinestones tour on October 15 in Greenville, SC. The tour includes 43 dates and will last until March 17, 2023, when it will conclude in Seattle, WA.
